Director of Finance & Facilities

Alexandria Public Schools is seeking a skilled and collaborative Finance Director to lead the district’s financial operations and support our mission of ensuring an exceptional learning experience for all students. Our district serves approximately 4,000 students and employs about 800 staff, offering a supportive, learner-focused culture and a strong commitment to fiscal stewardship.

Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Superintendent, the Director of Finance & Facilities plays a critical role in guiding the district’s financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and reporting. This position leads all aspects of financial management with a focus on public finance, while also overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operation of district facilities.
